The Oklahoma Engineering Foundation (OEF) announces the winners of the 42nd Annual Oklahoma Engineering Fair, which was held February 22 at Science Museum Oklahoma.

Nearly 700 people attended the fair including 622 students, 45 teachers and 23 sponsors. The event, which is coordinated by the Oklahoma Engineering Foundation, was held at Science Museum Oklahoma. The following schools attended:

According to Jennifer McCollum, Executive Director, OEF, the fair is an annual competition that offers plaques and cash awards to winning teachers/classrooms and medals to winning students. In addition, thanks to a grant from the Kirkpatrick Foundation, some schools received travel grants. Other sponsors included the Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission; Olsson; Air Force STEM K-12; ConocoPhillips; DoD STEM and Phillips 66.

Jimmy Sparks, PE, (Olsson), is the president of OEF. Greg Steelhammer, PE (DCP Midstream) is past-president. Michael Penny (TekSystems) is treasurer. Trustees include James Beauchamp, PE; Martin Buchanan (Buchanan Capital); Brian Dolan, PE (Leidos); Paul Green, PE (Freese and Nichols); Joy Kotey, PE (City of Oklahoma City); Alex Marks (Whites Energy Services) Kevin Sitton (Phillips 66) and Tommy Willis, PE (Benham Group).
