Admissions officers look for students who go beyond academics. Serving on the OEF YAB demonstrates initiative, community involvement, advocacy experience, and a commitment to STEM. Members who successfully complete their term also receive a letter of recommendation on OEF letterhead.

Meet high-achieving students from across Oklahoma who share your interests in engineering, mathematics, technology, and science. The relationships you build could become part of your future professional network.

Want to help improve STEM education in Oklahoma? Youth Ambassadors serve as advocates for STEM opportunities in their schools and communities while helping promote programs such as MATHCOUNTS, the Oklahoma Engineering Fair, and future STEM initiatives.
๐ง 5. Get a Behind-the-Scenes Look at Engineering and Nonprofits
Members gain exposure to nonprofit governance, advocacy, event planning, and the engineering profession. You’ll volunteer at major statewide events, learn from professionals, and see how organizations work to create opportunities for students. Plus, there are perks including an OEF T-shirt and an annual field trip.
