In October 2024, Oklahoma was ranked 50th in the nation for public education.

Please support the work of OEF to increase engineering and math education in Oklahoma schools. Your small gift on Giving Tuesday, December 3, 2024, will make a huge difference.

Please help OEF increase its influence by becoming an official supporter through a donation. Every little bit helps!

From Oklahoma’s Red River Valley Regions to the Gypsum Hills; the High Plains to the Ouachita Mountains, and everywhere in between, Oklahoma students in all 77 counties of the state are struggling like never before to overcome the vicissitudes of life. Brilliant, but burdened, math students may not really believe they can become engineers or scientists, so we will believe for them.

This is the legacy of the Oklahoma Engineering Foundation, Oklahoma’s oldest STEM education nonprofit. In 1975, 12 engineers believed in the future of engineering education in Oklahoma. Together, they founded the Oklahoma Engineering Foundation and endowed an engineering scholarship for college students pursuing degrees in engineering. Today, that endowment has grown to nearly $220,000. Moreover, for decades, OEF has organized science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) learning experiences and adventures for Oklahoma students through our flagship programs, MATHCOUNTS Oklahoma and the Oklahoma Engineering Fair.

Oklahoma Engineering Fair

The Oklahoma Engineering Fair, organized and directed by the Oklahoma Engineering Foundation, is held every spring and brings together hundreds of students, teachers, professors, and the business community to give students an introduction to engineering and related principles. Last year’s fair attracted nearly 1,000 students from across Oklahoma, including many rural students. The 44th Annual Oklahoma Engineering Fair is February 19, 2025.
