The Oklahoma Engineering Foundation is the proud fiscal partner for the Oklahoma affiliate of the National Center for Women & Information Technology. The program’s 2023 Aspirations in Computing Awards ceremony is 2-4 p.m., Saturday, April 29, University of Central Oklahoma, Edmond.
Jamie Hadwin, a program manager for the Oklahoma State Department of Health is the Oklahoma Aspirations in Computing program coordinator.
The ceremony will recognize a diverse group of high school students from across the state that are doing (and want to do) amazing things in computing and technology. Following the ceremony, attendees will enjoy a tour of some of the new tech-related spaces at UCO, including the new CREIC data center and School of Engineering MakerSpace.
