House Bill 2260
CIVIL ENGINEERING
Rep. Nicole Miller, R-Edmond, has filed legislation to address the growing shortage of civil engineers. House Bill 2260 would provide targeted tax incentives for civil engineering students and employers to help recruit, retain and develop talent in this critical field.
Senate Bill 139
BANNING CELL PHONES in SCHOOLS
SB 139 requires school district boards of education to adopt a policy prohibiting students from using cell phones while on a public school district campus from bell to bell.
Senate Bill 28
FREE LUNCH EXPANSION
SB 28 would provide free meals to students whose families earn 250 percent of the federal poverty level or less.

SB 201 would establish a minimum salary schedule for teachers.

Senate Bill 839 would designate social media as “addictive and dangerous to mental health, especially that of minors.”
