STEM Education Mission
The Oklahoma Engineering Foundation was the first Oklahoma STEM education nonprofit. Established in 1975, we are engineers, educators and industry and community partners. Our mission is to further STEM education in Oklahoma and increase the number of engineering professionals living and working in the state.
ENGINEERING FAIR
The OEF Oklahoma Engineering Fair is held every spring during Engineers Week and brings together students, teachers, professors, and the business community to give students an introduction to engineering and related principles. The next fair will be held April 23, 2025, at Science Museum Oklahoma.
MATHCOUNTS
Since 1983, the Oklahoma Engineering Foundation has hosted the Oklahoma MATHCOUNTS program. Pooling resources from engineering and STEM-minded industries, OEF has engaged thousands of students in this upper-level middle school math competition.
SCHOLARSHIPS
The Oklahoma Engineering Foundation
awards up to four $2,000 collegiate scholarships for students pursuing a degree in an accredited engineering program at one of six specified Oklahoma universities.

OEF College Scholarship
The Oklahoma Engineering Foundation has awarded more than $350,000 in scholarship monies to Oklahoma students since 1975. Up to four $2,000 collegiate scholarships are awarded annually to students in an accredited engineering program at one of six specified Oklahoma universities.

2025 Bridge Competition
Foreword
Each school MUST preregister by April 1, 2025. Visit oef.org for registration information. Upon registration, the participants will receive an entry form via email, which must be completed and attached to their bridge. Prizes will be awarded to winning entries from registered schools.

FOREWORD
This contest is limited to five (5) entries per school. Each school MUST pre-register online. Visit oef.org/2025-fair-registration. Prizes will be awarded to winning entries from registered schools only. Entries from unregistered schools will NOT be eligible

OBJECTIVE
Prior to competition, design and build an electric motor-powered by a dry cell battery that rotates at the highest possible speed.
