According to Jennifer McCollum, Executive Director, OEF, the fair is an annual competition that offers plaques and cash awards to winning teachers/classrooms and medals to winning students. In addition to individual event sponsors, other funders included Phillips 66; ConocoPhillips; Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission; Olsson; Air Force STEM K-12; Tulsa STEM Alliance and the OEF Board of Trustees.
Jimmy Sparks, PE, (Olsson), is the president of OEF. Greg Steelhammer, PE (DCP Midstream) is past-president. Trustees include James Beauchamp, PE; Brian Dolan, PE (Leidos); Paul Green, PE (Freese and Nichols); Alex Marks (Whites Energy Services) and Kevin Sitton (Phillips 66).
